我本人在去年大概七、八月份的時候在唐人街的一個大橋下碰見了正在發傳單的長老。當時我接過傳單。其中一位長老問我要不要學英文。我說我很想學英文。而且沒有想到他們會說那麽流利的中文。所以我非常的高興與感興趣。後來我也聽說在伊麗莎白街有個教會。所以有一天晚上下班了我就嘗試去伊麗莎白街的教會。就這樣，我就一直與教會進一步的交流和參加教會。在我真正的瞭解這個教會後，我發現這個教會就是我的一個家，是一個大家庭。這裏的傳教士非常的關心我，幫助我。讓我更認識耶穌基督。那是一個非常真實，真的存在的教會。在那裏我也學了更多知識。所以我决定接受洗禮。因爲我自從認識這個教會，我從不相信變到後來相信，而且非常的信任耶穌基督。這也見證了我。所以我决定要成爲一個教會的成員。因爲在我們的生活中我真的見證了很多事情，讓我更加的相信耶穌，信任耶穌，依賴耶穌。因爲我知道耶穌時時刻刻與我們這些兒女同在。而且永遠與我們同在。耶穌永遠不會放弃我們，不會忘記我們。
I met the elders on the streets of Chinatown under a bridge, sometime last July or August, while they were giving out pass along cards. At that time, I said i would past on excepting the pass along card, but an elder asked me if I wanted to learn English. I said that I really want to learn English and I did not think that they could speak fluent Chinese. Thus, I was very happy to except their card and interested to see how it would go. Later on, I heard that there was a church on Elizabeth Street and so one night after work, I went to the church on Elizabeth Street. I realized this church is just like my family, a big family. The missionaries cared and helped me a lot by helping me to learn about Jesus Christ. This is the only true church. I have gained so much knowledge which led me to want to be baptized. I have come to believe this gospel and to rely on Jesus Christ and that is why I decided to become a member of this church. I have witnessed many miracles in my life that allowed me to believe, trust and rely on Jesus. I know that Jesus will always be with us. Jesus will never abandon or forget us.
